Bean meal with cabanosi, at Crock-Pot slow cooker

Bean meal with cabanosi, at Crock-Pot slow cooker

Wash the beans in more water and leave to soak overnight.

The next day, put the following in the bowl of the crock-pot: beans, then washed and finely chopped vegetables. I also put sausages: cabanos are my favorites. Top with spices: salt, bay leaves. I also used homemade vegetables (root parsley, grated carrot, red kapia pepper). Then add the broth and tomatoes and cover with water. Initially I put about 600 ml of water, I set the device to the high function and I left it for 4 hours, but because the beans were not very penetrated, I added about 200 ml of water and I left about two hours. In the last ten minutes, thicken the sauce with a little flour dissolved in water and put through a strainer, otherwise it comes out like a soup.

Portions: 8

Preparation time: 10 min

Cooking time: about 6 hours, on the high level.

Good appetite!

And since many ask, even though I have and love my Instant Pot, I still like my slow cooker! I have 6 Quart Hamilton Beach Set ‘n Forget Programmable Slow Cooker (affiliate link). I like it because you can adjust the time you want it to cook and it automatically turns hot when it's done. It also has a meat probe that automatically shuts off when finished. I hated my old pot of dishes, everything burned and my food tasted weird. This slow cooker is so great that I own several!

Roasting peppers before cooking is not essential, but adds a little flavor to the finished recipe. You can learn how to fry hot peppers here, but here's a simple broiler method.

ONE: First, set your oven to fry. Slice the poblano peppers in half lengthwise and place them on a lightly greased baking sheet.

TWO: Fry them for about 10-15 minutes or until the skin softens and coals and gets rid of the pepper meat. Turn them halfway through the process to get both sides.

Take them out of the oven and leave them cool enough to handle.

THREE: Peel the skin with your fingers. It should be easily removed.

A healthy and delicious food!
The ingredients are for a maximum of 2 people if we serve something next to it and for about one person if we serve only salad.

Crispy garlic and chickpea cream soup

A recipe from The Country of Cuisine
by Alice Ciobanu

Today I tell you the story of a bowl with Creamy garlic and chickpea soup. I decided to make garlic cream soup. I thought that the vampires that dwell in my soul (sometimes) will perish as soon as I unlock the garlic flavor, that the scorpion will lose its mind and think of a culinary seppuku. I imagined myself rolling, on the colored tiles, in terrible torment, shaking hands and feet, screaming and drawing flames on my nose and ears. Because, maybe I'm thinner and I don't have the audacity to brag about what I eat and especially in what more or less vintage pots I cook, so I haven't cooked or tasted onion soup and garlic cream soup so far.

But how can you never say or even zen said: it's time for everything & # 8230 and as the ball thrown at the net by Sun Food was garlic, I took my heart in my teeth, I wrapped myself in thoughts about unicorns that I sip the garlic soup and here I am cooking. And to take the garlic cream soup beyond the limits of an ordinary soup, to add that something we all need, we ennobled it with some crispy chickpeas and tomatoes dried in oil, obviously also with the help of the fantastic chickpea cream from Sun Food.

What I can tell you is that from this soup you will eat until you burst, that it will give you addiction and that it will not drive away vampires, and the scorpions will live happily ever after. It's an extremely delicate soup, with a velvety aroma, and the crispy chickpeas beat everything!
