We prepare a fragile dough from the above ingredients that we cover in cling film and let it cool for an hour.
We spread a round sheet which we spread in a round tray greased with butter and lined with flour.
(We leave about a quarter of the dough for the popcorn on top)
Prick here and there with a fork and bake for 10 minutes.
During this time we prepare the filling: we wash, clean and cut the apples into cubes. Then mix them with the sugar and strawberry juice and put on the fire for a few minutes until the sugar melts and the apples soften a little.
Separately in a bowl mix the starch with a few tablespoons of cold water then pour over the apples and leave on the fire for another 3-4 minutes until it thickens.
Remove the tray from the oven and pour the apples over the sheet of dough. Sprinkle the vanilla sugar and cinnamon, and put the popcorn cut from the remaining dough on top.
Bake again for approx. 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool, then powder with powdered sugar and serve.
